Beverage, bottling and co-packing automation

Juice, soft drinks, craft soda, RTD and functional beverages: many SKUs, fast changeovers, and every batch blended to spec.

Where control matters in a beverage plant

  • Ingredient handling. Sugar and sweetener, concentrates, flavors, acids and colors, dosed by recipe with lot tracking.
  • Syrup room and blending. Batch or in-line blending to Brix, acidity and other quality targets, with lab results tied to the batch.
  • Deaeration, carbonation and heat treatment. Control and record the parameters required by the established process, including applicable temperature, holding time, flow and diversion conditions. Records support verification against the process acceptance criteria.
  • Filler integration. The process system tells filling and packaging equipment what is coming, and receives counts and status back. Packaging integration →
  • CIP and changeover. Sequence and record cleaning and changeover activities, with release criteria established by the site's sanitation and allergen-control program. CIP →

Why a DCS fits beverage and co-packing

In beverages, the SKU count is the strategy, especially for co-packers producing for many brand owners. Each formulation, pack size and customer spec becomes another recipe on shared tanks and lines. Recipe and formulation management keeps approved parameters controlled and changes traceable. We select the recipe and batch architecture to match the equipment, routing and reporting requirements. Co-packers also have to prove to each brand owner that their product was made to their spec. Batch reports provide process evidence for comparison with customer specifications, alongside required laboratory results and quality review. Traceability →

Bring the log book. We'll tell you what fits.

Show a Freelance engineer how your batches are run and recorded today: a new process, a line expansion or a control-system migration. We'll tell you plainly whether a DCS, a PLC or something in between is the right next step.
